What's the difference between Vendor Hall and Artist Alley?
Vendor Hall is for businesses selling products such as video games, retro games, trading cards, TCG accessories, collectibles, tabletop, board games, RPG products, gaming accessories, apparel, pop-culture merchandise, retail inventory, and specialty convention merchandise. Artist Alley is intended primarily for creators selling their own work, such as original artwork, prints, comics, zines, crafts, handmade goods, commissions, and creator merchandise. Cosplay creators who sell prints, props, accessories, commissions, or creator merchandise can register as Cosplay Creator / Vendor and may be placed in Artist Alley or Vendor Hall depending on product mix, space request, and floor planning. Resale-heavy retailers are not an automatic fit for Artist Alley. If you are not sure which fits, register interest and choose the closest option. Final placement can be determined during the application process.
Can cosplay creators vend at Midwest Pixel Fest?
Yes, if they want vendor or Artist Alley space to sell products such as prints, props, accessories, commissions, handmade goods, or creator merchandise. Registering as a cosplay vendor is optional — not every cosplayer sells products. Vendor participation is separate from invited cosplay guests and cosplay programming. Interest as a vendor does not grant guest status, a free booth, travel, hotel, an appearance fee, or featured placement.
